On April 30, 2011, Visual Communications screened two PDUB videos as part of its 2011 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival: “HOW TO SURVIVE A FILIPINO HOUSE PARTY” and “THE ART OF RUNNING.” The videos screened as part of “Cross Cultures,” an international program featuring youth filmmakers at the prestigious Directors Guild of America (DGA).

On Saturday, Sept. 26th, 2009, at the Pilipino Workers’ Center, PDUB Productions will unveil mobile media tours of Historic Filipinotown that will bring to life the social and cultural histories of the neighborhood through the perspectives of immigrants from different time periods.
These walking tours will be accessible using hand-held devices provided at the event – and one day on your own phone.

A popular from of public transportation in the Philippines, Jeepneys were originally created from US jeeps left behind after World War II. An authentic, working jeepney imported from the Philippines will be part of the festivites!
