Hello Everyone, It's been a busy time for Public Matters. So busy in fact that we've been a bit lax about sharing all the great things that we've got going on. However, these two stories are too good to keep to ourselves. Today's L.A. Times ran a feature on our ongoing work with the South L.A. Healthy Eating Active Communities Initiative, focused on market makeovers. And the AP has been running a story on Selma Lozoya, one of the HEAC students. We're delighted that our students are becoming quite the media darlings. Helping to facilitate their development as youth leaders and community health advocates has been an incredible thing. |
